Lonza has created the Pluripotent Stem Cell Innovation Center. There, it is possible to generate more than 220 cell types. ■Obtain tissue We have a professional and experienced team that obtains research or clinical grade tissues in accordance with regulations and the highest ethical standards. ■Reprogramming We manufacture iPSCs using zero-fit printing technology under cGMP and non-cGMP conditions. ■Growth/Proliferation/Banking We have established proprietary protocols for all media, matrices, and passaging methods. We provide the infrastructure and resources for small- to large-scale PSC culture and banking for research and clinical applications. ■Quality evaluation We offer all the standard methods needed to assess the quality of PSCs, including validated methods for mycoplasma and sterility testing, karyotyping, STRGenotyping, pluripotency marker expression, and pluripotency assays. ■Differentiation We have established a protocol to induce differentiation into PSC-derived neural cells. We also have ongoing programs to develop methods for differentiation into other therapeutically relevant cell types. ■Process development Over the years, we have expanded our expertise in iPSC manufacturing and differentiation into highly pure and functional cell types. Our team has the knowledge and expertise to transfer and optimize production protocols used in clinical grade manufacturing.
