■ Overview
The PLF2000 series was designed as a liquid flow sensor replacing the mechanical turbine flow sensor. Even if there is pulsation, the core has a MEMS thermal flow dies with a PLF2000 with a high -precision and reproducible linear signal.
Since there are no movable parts, there is no need to disassemble cleaning, no clogging or failure. In addition, since no obstacle (eg, turbine) is inserted in the flow path, it can show the minimum flow resistance and circulate the liquid via a gravity, boiler, or low output pump.
The PLF2000 has a thermal flow dies that benefit from the latest technological innovation in fine processing. Sensadai uses a thermoelectric pair and detects changes in the temperature gradient drawn by flows, providing excellent signals and noise ratios and reproducibility. The "solid state" insulation structure eliminates the need for a surface cavity (tube type) or fragile protective film. Sensadai with silicon protective film can be directly touched with liquid, enables the highest level of sensitivity, minimizing the cost of packaging.
The PLF2000 complies with NSF/ANSI: 61 (parts for drinking water consolidation pipe-effect on health). It can be used safely for water and beverages. PLF2000 has both analog (voltage) output and digital I2C output.
