Bonding single mode light to multi -mode (mm) fiber can cause luminance loss, while the binding efficiency is relatively good and it is less likely to affect Miss Alignment. Generally output signals are multi -mode. It is necessary to select a single mode (SM) fiber to maintain the good characteristics of single mode light. Coupling the polarized light to a single mode fiber will result in random polarization in the fiber output part. Double bending and folds always change depending on the temperature change to the fiber and the movement / bending of the fiber, and as a result, the output polarization at the SM fiber ends also changes. Polical wave retention (PM) fiber can hold input polarization in the appropriate specification environment. In the PM fiber, a strong multiple buckling is intentionally introduced in a controlled manner, so that a straight -line polarization signal is binding to one optical axis, and the polarized state is maintained at the output edge. Polarized cross talks (polarization ratio) for other axes are generally smaller than -25 dB/100m, and for wavelengths of 480 nm or less, smaller than 20db/100m. The optical axis of the PM fiber is adjusted according to the slow phase axis (SLOW AXIS). In order to optimize this adjustment, we provide the freedom to rotate fiber around the axis. Usually, all fiber ends have 4%loss. Anti -reflection coating (AR) fiber can reduce these reflective losses to less than 1%and improve the loss after fiber transmission by 6 to 8%. AR coating can withstand high output, but is not suitable for bonding between fibers that require physical contact (PC: Physical Contact). The AR -coated fiber can be used by many wavelengths according to the request. The feature of the fiber for high output (HP) is on the specially processed end. The output beam from the high -output fiber shows M² << 1.1, which is a very small spatial distortion.
