About This Product

Measure the return loss of electronic devices and circuits. ・ 5-3000MHz frequency range ・ Direction of 40dB or more ・ Built -in criteria for 50Ω ・ Maximum input power of 1.5W ・ TG -equipped spectrum analyzer MSA438/538TG can easily evaluate the return loss Overview of VSWR bridge The VSWR bridge is used to evaluate the consistency (matching) of electronic devices, circuits, or devices such as filters, amplifiers, and antennas. The consistency is evaluated by measuring VSWR. The VSWR bridge is also called a return loss because it directly measures the return loss. Sine wave signals (advanced waves) are supplied to the test (DUT) through the VSWR bridge Source port and DUT port from the signal generator. The reflection waves generated at the DUT input end are entered into the power meter or spectrum analyzer through the DUT port and the Reflected port. This reflected wave is measured with a power meter. Return loss = 0db calibration is performed by opening the DUT port. If you open the DUT port, all power will be reflected at this port end and output to the Reflected port. In this instrument, the theoretical value of the insertion loss from the Source port to the DUT port and the DUT port to the Reflected port is 6 dB. In other words, when the DUT port is opened, add -10dbm to the Source port, and the Reflected port will output -22dbm (actually -22 to -25dbm). At this time, the read value of the power meter PO (DBM) will be return loss = 0db. Next, assuming the reading value of the power meter when the DUT is connected to PX (DBM), it will be "Retan Ross RL = Po-PX (DB).
