The RS6100 can be used comfortably with five interchangeable mounting methods.
Enterprise hand mounts are available in a variety of sizes for left and right hands, allowing for a custom fit. Single finger mounts are available with single or double triggers. Trigger vibration signals errors so you can take immediate corrective action.
The thin, one-size-fits-all backhand mount can be worn on either the left or right hand, making it ideal for picking in tight spaces. A pull-back strap that hooks around your neck or belt keeps it within easy reach and out of the way.
■Environmental resistance of minus 30℃
Regarding durability, RS6100 has been triple-tested for dustproof, waterproof, drop-impact, and fall-impact resistance. The RS6100 can be used in any environment, from freezers/refrigerators to warehouse aisles, in scorching heat or sub-zero temperatures, to outdoor loading docks exposed to rain or snow. Only the RS6100 has been tested for drop impact performance over the entire temperature range, so it doesn't matter if it falls on concrete or gets sprayed with water. You don't have to worry about the resin becoming brittle and crumbling in the cold, or parts expanding in the summer heat.
■Long distance scanning performance
The SE55 1D/2D long-range scan engine with Intellifocus™ technology can scan barcodes up to 12.2m away. This is more than twice as fast as the RS6000, and can capture both barcodes on products at hand and barcodes on the top rack. Zebra's proprietary PRZM software allows you to capture barcodes in virtually any condition. Plus, with the highest resolution sensor in its class, the RS6100 can capture even the smallest and densest barcodes.
