■No settings required, ready to use
The necessary settings are pre-configured before shipping, so you can use it immediately after opening the package. Just connect to POS, it will automatically detect the interface and connect to the scanner. It supports 97 types of keyboards from all over the world, so you can easily use it anywhere.
■Low-cost charging system
A tablet-based POS is loaded with the features you need to add high-quality scanning. Low-cost charging is possible by using a MicroUSB cable instead of a cradle.
■Easy to customize settings
If you want to customize your settings, you can do so with the 123Scan software tool (free). The intuitive operation makes it easy to use even for first-time users. All settings can be incorporated into a single programming barcode, allowing configuration with a single scan.
■High reading performance
Zebra's exclusive PRZM can read even low-quality barcodes. In addition, the omnidirectional scanning function can cover a wide range (from 1.23cm to 36.8cm), so there is no need to align the scanner and barcode, reducing your workload.
■Patent pending aiming line guide
It is similar to the aiming line of a 1D scanner, so you can use it with the same operational feel as before.
It also displays aiming line guides so you can scan at the optimal distance from the barcode. Useful when scanning wide barcodes.
■Quick and easy charging
Charges in just 1 hour when connected via MicroUSB to a host or standard outlet. Presentation cradle for hands-free scanning charges in 4 hours and allows you to work while charging. The presentation cradle does not require a separate power source, so there is no need to purchase or manage separate accessories.
■Light flashes when scanned accurately
If the barcode is read correctly, the light will flash, allowing you to visually confirm it instantly.
■ Instantly switch between handheld and hands-free
Simply place the scanner on the presentation stand and it will automatically switch to hands-free mode for quick scanning. You can switch whether you are using a corded DS2208 or a cordless DS2278.
