About This Product
The DS2200-HC series provides instantaneous and accurate decoding of many barcodes used in point-of-care, laboratories, and pharmacies. Featuring Zebra's exclusive PRZM software decoding algorithm, it easily and accurately reads many types of barcodes commonly used in hospitals, from patient wristbands and drug vials to IV bags and specimen tray barcodes. .
Additionally, the wide reading range eliminates the need for precise scanner positioning, making it easy to point and click to scan. The result is always a single read, improving patient safety and workflow efficiency for medical staff.
■Easy to clean and disinfect
Unlike general-purpose scanner products, the DS2200-HC series features a disinfection-compatible housing designed to withstand regular disinfection using common disinfectants.
■Silent mode
Cana feedback is important, but so is caring for the patient. Zebra's Direct Decode Indicator illuminates barcodes to indicate good decoding in quiet environments. Clinicians instantly know if medications, wristbands, and IV bags were properly scanned, and patients don't have to worry about being woken up by loud beeps.
■ Instant scanning switching between handheld mode and hands-free mode is possible
In laboratories and pharmacies, there are tasks that are easier to perform with handheld scanners and tasks that are easier to perform with hands-free scanners. Switching between scan modes is quick and easy with the DS2200-HC series. Simply place the scanner on the optional presentation stand and it will automatically switch to hands-free mode, or when you want to go into handheld mode, simply pick up the scanner from the stand.
