Zebra's DS4308 sets the standard in decoding range, delivering the same "error-free" worry-free scanning range as the DS4600 series. The DS4608-SR can capture UPC codes up to 28 inches away, allowing cashiers to easily reach items in shoppers' shopping carts without leaving the register.

The DS4600 series features a durable design inside and out. IP52-rated water resistance protects against spills, while a patented double-seal optical scanning system protects critical optical components from dust and liquids. The scanner's "eyes" always read barcode images clearly, ensuring fast and reliable decoding. A recessed scan window prevents dirt, dust, and scratches from affecting performance.

Scan 1D/2D barcodes on printed labels or on your mobile phone screen. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) allows you to collect ID and travel document data, parse driver's license information for age verification, monitor returned products, and process data for loyalty and credit card applications.
