The newly designed DS9308 can be used anywhere from trendy apparel shops to convenience stores. The DS9308 is a compact type that does not take up much space, so it can be installed without any problems even on counters with limited space. Additionally, a 45-degree cable connector allows the scanner to be tilted forward for use in even tighter spaces.
■ Instantaneous and failure-free scanning
With swipe speeds up to 50% faster than other scanners, the DS9308 reads barcodes the moment you hold it over it. And with the largest viewing angle in its class, there's no need to move the product around to find the "sweet spot."
■Able to read and process almost everything without exception
It can be used for a variety of purposes, including instant age verification using driver's license information, automatic filling of membership card and credit card applications, and monitoring returns to prevent fraud.
■ Elimination of paper through document capture
The DS9308's intelligent document capture feature can convert documents up to A6 size, such as prescriptions, passports, and checks, into clear, easy-to-read electronic images. Onboard software automatically compensates for issues such as lighting to ensure optimal document clarity.
■Capture multiple barcodes with just one press of the scan trigger
With MDF (Multicode Data Formatting) capability, the DS9308 can read multiple barcodes in a single scan and send only the barcodes you need in the correct order to your application.
■ No problems with drops, dust, and liquid spills.
The scanner is designed to withstand repeated falls, and is resistant to knocks and shocks that are common in the field. Resistant to liquid spills and dust. The IP52-rated base with an opto-mechanical layout, including a hidden beeper hole with raised circuitry and cable connectors, is spill resistant.
