■Overwhelming cost performance
It boasts overwhelming cost performance as a barcode reader (barcode scanner) that can read LCDs of smartphones and tablets. This is a mid-range barcode reader, so unlike touch-type barcodes, it can read even if you hold it a little further away.
*If the barcode is small or detailed, you will need to bring it closer.
■Compatible with GS1 medical barcodes
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has announced a partial revision to the "Implementation Guidelines for Barcode Display on Medical Drugs," and in principle, the barcode display of medical products and drugs will undergo major changes by April 2021. If you only manage product codes, this product will be the cheapest among the pharmaceutical barcode readers that can be used even after the revision.
■Editing barcode data
It is possible to add characters to the beginning and end of barcode data (suffix/prefix), customize settings, etc. There are no difficult settings, just read the barcode from the manual.
■Lightweight and compact housing
The weight of the main body is only 90g. It is lightweight and designed to fit in your hand, so you can use it for long periods of time without getting tired. In addition, although it is thin and lightweight, the casing is extremely durable and can withstand shocks such as drops.
■Easy connection, easy settings
No driver is required as it is recognized through keyboard emulation. No special settings are required, just connect and you can use it immediately. The settings manual that comes with the product is completely in Japanese. Line feed code settings etc. can be easily done using the included manual.
