■Product overview
FTIR method: Fourier transform infrared analysis method. Continuously measures more than 12 types of gas components using a unique algorithm.
■Features
・Since analysis is performed while maintaining the sample gas temperature at a high temperature (180°C), it is possible to measure high-temperature and high-humidity gases as well as water-soluble gases.
・It has excellent corrosion resistance and is a simple measurement method that does not require water removal.
- Since it is a quantitative analysis system, no calibration gas is basically required, only zero gas measurement operation using nitrogen gas.
■Operating principle
The molecules that make up physical properties each have a unique vibration frequency, and only the infrared rays corresponding to that frequency are absorbed, so it is possible to identify the substance from the frequency distribution of its absorption peaks. The infrared rays converted into interference light by the interferometer are absorbed by the sample gas within the cell, and a frequency intensity unique to each molecule is obtained.
The spectrum is obtained by Fourier transformation, and after mutual interference correction and absorption band selection, the library and CLS algorithm are used to identify the gas and determine its concentration.
