About This Product

■Summary The world's first safety system using SIL2/Pld standard 3D radar. Transform industrial automation and increase safety without sacrificing productivity. The sensor is a smart FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar device based on a proprietary detection algorithm. Operating in the mmWave V-band (60GHz), it can detect motion even in complex environments by analyzing the return signals reflected by stationary and moving objects within its operating range. ■Main functions of the sensor ・Motion analysis and scenario analysis ・Communicate processed motion data and diagnostic information to control unit ・Static object detection: Static objects within the area where the restart prevention safety function is activated can be detected. This prevents the machine from restarting if there are obstacles in the area. ■Features -The new 200 Series Radar Sensor (60GHZ) comes in two types with vertical angle settings of 20 degrees and 12 degrees. - Operates unaffected by dust, debris, steam, small plastic and wood shavings, rain, etc. - Suitable for outdoor use, harsh and dirty environments. -The sensor sends out very low power radio impulses that are reflected by objects. The amount of power reflected by a target is related to the radar reflection cross section (RCS). Large metal objects have very high RCS. ・The LBK radar sensor can detect the movement of the chest while breathing, as well as the slight movements and tremors of a stationary person. Therefore, monitoring is possible by distinguishing between moving and stationary targets. ■Applicable detection area setting Each sensor in the LBK System series can be individually programmed to cover a wide or narrow detection area. The actual area covered by each sensor will vary depending on the installation height and tilt. The 200 series is available in 5m and 9m detection range versions, each with a vertical viewing angle of 20 degrees or 12 degrees. In addition, it is now possible to set corridor mode and cone mode (scaling in 5 degree increments), and it is possible to set areas such as warning and danger for each area. (depending on sensor type)
