About This Product
■ Overview
・ A3PCI1586 is 1G EXPETHER ™ Slave Adapter of 3U CompactPCI® form factor.
-EXPEther ™ is a technology that propagates the PCI Express® signal on an Ethernet. The EXPETHER ™ bridge serves as a software transparent PCI Express® switch, so you can build the same flexible system as Ethernet with no software change or minimal change.
・ This board is attached to the COMPACTPCI® rack system slot and functions as a device bridge for EXPEther ™. By connecting to the hoster ™ Host Bus Adapter on the host side, you can extend the PCI Express® bus (up to 100m) between different housing.
・ Ethernet is compatible with 1000Base-T, and can ensure redundancy by a 2-port configuration.
