About This Product
■ Overview
・ ADEXP1587 is Low Profile PCI Express® Add-In Card type 1G EXPEther ™ Host Bus Adapter.
-EXPEther ™ is a technology that propagates the PCI Express® signal on an Ethernet. The EXPETHER ™ bridge serves as a software transparent PCI Express® switch, so you can build the same flexible system as Ethernet with no software change or minimal change.
・ This board is attached to a PCI Express® slot such as FAPC and functions as a host bridge of Expether ™. By connecting to Expether ™ Slave Adapter on the device side, you can extend the PCI Express® bus (up to 100m) between different housing.
・ Ethernet is compatible with 1000Base-T, and can ensure redundancy by a 2-port configuration.
