The glass tube uses high -purity transparent quartz glass. The transparency of infrared rays is high, it is thermal stability, it protects the filament due to a convection heat loss to the outside air, and there is no thermal unevenness within the effective length.

The factor that contributes much more efficiently with infrared heaters is irradiation efficiency.
