■ Applications
The FieldGate SFG500 is a system component that builds an independent access route on the Profibus network. The FieldGate SFG500 has multiple operation modes so that you can use it in various applications. The operation mode can be extended with the optional memory card (Fieldgate SFM500).

Without a memory card, FieldGate SFG500 works as plant access points. In this case, it operates as an Ethernet gateway that supports the FDT -based plant asset management host application (eg, FieldCare) and the Profibus Master Class 2. If the memory card is inserted, it will be displayed on a device diagnostic information (such as the status of Namur Ne 107, including the cause and countermodement of errors) and the web browser that integrates the process values ​​of Profibus and HART devices. 。
