■Equipped with a flexible and high-spec scan engine
The DS3678ex is equipped with a scan engine that utilizes PRZM intelligent imaging scanner technology and supports a wide variety of symbol codes, including 1D symbols, 2D symbols, postal codes, and OCR. It has a wide reading range and can scan quickly and accurately.
This is a high-spec scanner that can smoothly read not only printed codes, but also codes displayed on the LCD screen, scanned from thick shrink material, and poorly printed codes.
■Reinforced model with excellent robustness to explosion-proof specifications
The highly robust DS3678 has been further upgraded to be suitable for explosion-proof areas. It has been certified as explosion-proof in Japan and can be used with confidence even in locations where there is a risk of explosion due to flammable gas or dust.
It also boasts high performance in terms of water resistance, drop resistance, dust resistance, and fall resistance. It can be used not only in explosion-proof areas, but also in harsh environments such as manufacturing factories and warehouses where dirt and dust tends to fly, outdoors in bad weather such as snow and rain, and inside freezers.
■Energy-saving Bluetooth for high-speed communication and reduced battery consumption
Adopts energy efficient Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy). You can perform high-speed communication while reducing battery consumption. Achieved more than 50% more scans (per charge) compared to products in its class.
■Full of functions for smooth reading work
DS3678ex is packed with useful functions to help you read various codes smoothly. For example, in picklist mode, even if the code is densely packed, you can use the aimer pointer to read it one by one. Using the multi-data code format, you can read up to 20 preset codes at the same time with just one trigger pull.
In addition, three types of reading sensing are available: beep sound with adjustable volume, LED lamp, and vibration. It has specifications that can be used in any environment, such as being able to detect readings with lamps and vibrations even in noisy environments.
