Model CTH7000 handheld thermometer is a high performance 2 channel thermometer for Pt100 and thermistor probes. The handheld thermometer CTH7000 is battery powered for improved measurement accuracy.
The CTH7000 has the accuracy and resolution typically associated with benchtop thermometers to suit any need. The two inputs can provide direct temperature from Pt100 or thermistor probes, or display the temperature difference between them. Measured values can be recorded directly to memory or can be controlled and data logged using a PC using the USB port.
The CTH7000 displays statistical analysis of measurements using mean, minimum and maximum values and standard deviation. Since the CTH7000 can display temperature and ohms, one probe can also be used to calibrate another probe. Most instruments require calibrated probe data to be entered into memory to optimize measurement accuracy, and changing probes regularly can result in a lot of data being entered.
With ASL's SMART connector on the probe, data only needs to be saved to the connector once. Calibration data is permanently retained with the probe. This probe can also be used with another CTH7000 without further action. SMART connectors save time and reduce errors. There is no problem with existing calibrated or uncalibrated probes. The CTH7000 automatically registers whether the probe is SMART-enabled.
