DUAL LDO regulator with ON/OFF switch ■ Characteristics The XC6415 series is a CMOS process Dual LDO regulator IC with high accuracy, low noise, high ripple removal, and low dropouts. Low-on resistance high-speed LDO x 2 is implemented in a small package USP-6C, so you can configure a power supply circuit very high density. The output voltage can be set for each regulator in 0.05V steps from 0.8 to 5.0V inside by laser trimming. It is possible to turn off the output of each regulator by the EN terminal to make it standby. In the XC6415 series, the charge charged to the output stabilization capacitor (CL) can be displayed by the internal switch between the VOUT terminal-vss terminal. This discharge function allows you to return the VOUT terminal to VSS level at high speed. The output stabilization capacitor (CL) also supports low ESR capacitors such as ceramic capacitors. In addition, a stable output can be obtained by a good transient response even during load fluctuations. Since each regulator is completely isolated, it is possible to keep the cross talk between each regulator in the output load fluctuation, etc. very small.
