Low ESR capacitor compatible ON/OFF Switch high -speed LDO regulator ■ Characteristics The XC6205 series is a CMOS -voltage LDO regulator IC of the CMOS process that has achieved high accuracy, low noise, high ripple removal, and low dropouts. The interior consists of a reference voltage source, an error amplifier, a driver orthrangist, a current restricted circuit, a phase compensation circuit, etc. The output voltage can be set in 0.05V steps from 0.9V to 1.75V inside by laser trimming. It also supports low ESR capacitors such as ceramic capacitors to output stabilization capacitors (CL). In addition, a stable output can be obtained by a good transient response even during load fluctuations. The output current is restricted and the output terminal is protected by the constant current restricted circuit and the foldback (Fold) circuit. With the CE function, the output is turned off and it becomes standby mode. In the standby mode, the current consumption is greatly reduced.
