Model Description
16V Power -resistant Power Power Powerful DC/DC Controller ■ Characteristics The XC9221 series is a general -purpose antihypertensive DC/DC controller IC. A stable power supply is achieved with high efficiency up to 3A output current 3A. In addition, low ESR capacitors such as ceramic capacitors can be used as load capacitors. The reference voltage source of 0.9V is built in, and the output voltage can be set arbitrarily by external resistance. The switching frequency is 300kHz, 500kHz, and 1.0MHz, so external parts can be reduced. The operating mode is a PWM/PFM automatic switching control method, and by operating with PFM control during light load, high efficiency is achieved in all areas from light load to heavy load. The soft start time can be selected from the type (A and C series) set to 4MS inside, and the external setting type (B, D series). With a built -in UVLO function and the input voltage is 2.3V (TYP) or less, the external PCH driver TR is forcibly turned off.
