About This Product

Tenak ™ -c is a polyatal (POM) resin of Asahi Kasei. POM is an abbreviation for polyoxyMethylene, a chemical name, and is generally called polyacetal resin. POM resin is an engineering plastic (emura) with excellent sliding characteristics, toughness, and fatigue characteristics, and is a crystalline thermoplastic resin. POM resin includes homopolimer ([-ch2o -] n), which is polymerized only by formaldehyde in the monomer, and copolimer ([-ch2o-] P/[-ch2ch2o-] n), which is polymerized from troutoxane and contains units of oxyethylene.
