Leona ™ is a polyamide (PA, nylon) resin of Asahi Kasei.
PA is an abbreviation of Polyamide, a chemical name, and is also called nylon resin. Polyamide resin is an engineering plastic that has excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength, and is a crystalline thermoplastic resin.
Asahi Kasei manufactures and sells 66 resin in polyamide. It is integrated from raw materials such as acrylonitrile, hydrangea, hexametrange, and hybrid acids to polyamide polymers.

The Leona ™ S series is the perfect grade for metal alternatives with excellent mechanical strength, suppressing the physical properties and dimensions of water absorption due to the conversion to the semi -aroma Polyamide Pa6i.
･ SG Series: Glass fiber (GF) 40-60%enhanced material, with excellent surface exterior and low VOC properties to meet the demand for automotive car internal organic surface with a sense of premium.
･ SN Series: Non -red phosphorus -non -halogen flame -retardant grade, excellent tracking resistance, glow wiring, low -smoke, laser printing, and laser welding.
