With extremely high accuracy, stability over time, low hysteresis, and excellent reproducible temperature characteristics, it measures air pressure in the range of 500 to 1200 hPa with analog output and 0 to 1350 hPa with digital output. The outstanding performance of the HD9408.3B is due to the adoption of a silicon-type piezo pressure sensor that integrates both pressure-sensitive and temperature-sensitive elements. The pressure and temperature measured by the sensors are processed by a microcontroller into output signals that are compensated over an extremely wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The sensor is factory calibrated at multiple temperature points throughout its operating temperature range. With its low power consumption design, the HD9408.3B is also a suitable transmitter for remote data acquisition such as solar powered automatic weather stations.
