Designed for advanced long-range sensing, LivoxTele-15 is compact, highly accurate, and durable. By installing it on a car, the vehicle can detect obstacles in advance and avoid them while moving at high speed.
■Long distance detection range
The Tele-15 uses a large-diameter double-sided aspherical lens to solve the problem of out-of-focus that often occurs with optical designs with long focal lengths. Achieves a maximum detection range of 500m. When the target reflectance is around 10%, a maximum detection range of 320m is achieved. Tele-15 supports customized special firmware that can extend the limit range up to 1000m.
■Ultra-high precision, ultra-high density point cloud
Tele-15 achieves an angular accuracy of 0.03° and a beam divergence angle of 0.12° (vertical) x 0.02° (horizontal). With its ultra-high precision point cloud, Tele-15 detects the location of objects within its FOV and quickly recognizes the object's contours. Tele-15 can detect objects from long distances of up to 500m when the reflectance is 50%. Even in the case of a black vehicle with low reflectivity, the Tele-15 can detect 14 points in just 100 milliseconds from a distance of 500 meters, meeting the point cloud data requirements for autonomous driving algorithms.
■Non-repetitive scanning pattern
With multiple laser emissions and a non-repetitive scanning pattern, the Tele-15 is capable of illuminating up to 240,000 points within a 15° FOV. Covering 99.8% of the FOV in just 100ms, it outperforms mechanical LiDAR sensors with 128 laser lines currently available on the market. This allows you to see farther and in more detail.
■High stability and reliability
Tele-15 employs an innovative optoelectronic system design using non-rotating optoelectronic components. The result is higher reliability and longer service life. It has strong heat deformation resistance and is designed to meet VW80000 and the international standard ISO16750 for auto parts. Comparable to automotive standards for vehicles that have been running for 10 years. Furthermore, the mean time to failure (MTTF) is 40,000 hours. Overall performance meets the requirements for autonomous driving level 3 and level 4.
