About This Product
Livox HAP TX/T1 is Livox's first automotive-grade LiDAR designed for intelligent driver assistance systems.
HAP meets up to 74 automotive-grade reliability test items and will begin serial production in the fourth quarter of 2021 at Livox's state-of-the-art automotive-grade manufacturing center. Livox has secured a partnership between Xpeng Motors and FAW to supply HAP for new models scheduled for mass production, and is an industry leader in achieving outstanding safety and ride comfort from both companies. We support the construction of leading smart driving systems.
■Strictly tested to ensure automotive grade performance
HAP has passed over 70 automotive grade reliability tests at Livox's in-house testing center. Built to China National Accreditation Board for Accreditation (CNAS) standards, the factory is equipped with state-of-the-art testing equipment and operated by a team of industry-leading experts. This configuration gives Livox incredibly efficient testing capabilities and enables HAP to comply with major automotive manufacturer standards and industrial standards such as ISO 16750.
Superior performance for a smarter driving experience
■Detection range
HAP detection range has been extended to 150 m. This allows autonomous driving systems to detect any obstacles in the distance faster and more easily when driving on highways or roads.
■Viewing angle
HAP has a 120° horizontal FOV. With dual sensor installation, HAP equips the vehicle with a 180° hyper point cloud FOV. This greatly enhances the system's driving capabilities in difficult situations such as cutting into vehicles and turning at intersections.
■Point cloud density
With an angular resolution of up to 0.18° x 0.23°, HAP boasts a point cloud density equivalent to 144-line LiDAR for ROI (region of interest). Enhanced point cloud density provides more realistic environmental perception and enables accurate detection of small objects on the road surface at a distance, including pedestrians, cyclists, and even traffic cones on the road.
