■Authentic successor model of RFD2000
The RFD40 was created using the same design philosophy as the RFD2000, which has been well received by various customers for its overwhelming cost performance. Of course, past applications for the RFD series can be used almost as-is. The RFD2000, which has an excellent balance between price and functionality, is an RFID reader/writer that is highly recommended not only for replacement, but also for additions and new projects.

We consider RFID to be a product that sells solutions rather than hardware. Although the RFID system is very comfortable once it starts operating, there are various issues that must be resolved before it starts, such as IC tag selection, encoding method, RFID printer procurement, application development, field testing, etc. No. Therefore, we have a variety of procurement sources and a system that allows us to develop RFID applications in-house.
■Uses "eConnex™" which provides stable operation
RFD40 uses "eConnex™" which communicates using connection terminals. You can connect compatible TC21/26 and EC50/55 as well as eConnex™ compatible handheld terminals that will be released in the future. You can change the handy terminal by simply changing the inexpensive mount adapter, which can significantly reduce replacement costs.
■Charge smartly
It can be charged from a standard USB-C port, but if you use a cradle-type charger, you can also charge it at the same time as a connected handy terminal. It prevents outlet congestion and makes it easy to manage adapters and cables that tend to get messy.
■Outstanding durability
It has impact resistance that allows it to operate even after being dropped from a height of 1.5m onto concrete and 500 times from a height of 50cm. It is also IP54 dust and splash resistant and boasts a wide operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C. The RFD40 sled can withstand common drops and impacts in the field, giving you peace of mind in harsh work environments.
■Equipped with multi-function trigger
The "multi-function trigger" supports multiple tasks, allowing you to easily switch functions with a single button. You can freely assign programs such as RFID reading, barcode scanning, Enter key, push-to-talk, etc.
