■Equipped with 1 million pixel high-speed area imager standard engine
The newly developed 1,280 x 800 pixels (1 million pixels) CMOS sensor engine achieves high-speed reading with a wide reading area and high-speed decoding and resolution. With a minimum resolution of 3 mil, it exhibits high reading performance not only for codes with poor print quality but also for codes damaged by scratches etc.
■Movable/desktop design
The scanning head can be adjusted to the optimal reading position, and the scanning head can be tilted up and down to adjust the barcode reading position. Compact design that does not take up space at the checkout counter. Smoothly reads QR codes/barcodes on smartphones and tablets' LCD screens as well as on paper.
■Further evolution of the Japanese QR code driver-less easy transmission function
When sending 2-byte characters (Japanese characters such as hiragana, katakana, and kanji) in a QR code, you can simply read the setting code and do not need to have any software installed. Furthermore, it is compatible not only with the character code Shift-JIS but also with UTF-8. You can easily send kanji to software such as Notepad, Microsoft RExcel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, etc. You can easily read the My Number QR code.
