■Robust and high-performance wireless scanner
The MS842P is a robust wireless scanner with features such as drop resistance from a height of 1.8m onto a concrete floor, IP42 dustproof and waterproof performance, and a trigger switch that can be used over 10 million times. Equipped with a high-performance 2D imager engine, it supports reading major 1D and 2D barcodes including QR codes.
The model equipped with a new engine after a minor change uses a high resolution engine of 1,280 x 960 pixels, achieving scanning performance that is one class higher.
■All-in-one package with charging cradle and AC adapter
This is an all-in-one package that includes a USB dongle for communication, a USB cable, a charging cradle, and an AC adapter as standard items. From the day you purchase it, you can use it easily like a wired barcode scanner.
■Easily create a wireless environment with a dedicated communication dongle
The MS842P has a pairing function that uses a dedicated USB communication dongle, making it possible to establish wireless communication with a PC without complicated settings. The MS842P also has an automatic mode that saves data in memory even when it is out of wireless communication range and uploads the data when it returns to communication range, and a function that allows data to be saved in batch mode.
■Hands-free mode (optional)
By using the optional "hands-free stand", you can set it to hands-free mode (automatic irradiation).
