■Support for even more various code systems
By default, it is possible to read JAN codes (commercially available products, etc.), NW-7 (courier invoices, etc.), Code 39, Code 128 (internal slips, etc.), etc. With separate settings, it is also possible to read codes such as S1DataBar and GS1DataBarLimited. In addition, the reading engine has been upgraded to improve the accuracy of reading LCDs, wide codes, and codes with low printed contrast levels.
■Easy connection, easy settings
This is a mid-range barcode reader, so unlike touch type, it can be read remotely. It can be recognized using the same driver as a keyboard, so no special settings are required, and you can use it right away just by connecting it. The included setting manual is in Japanese.
■Equipped with hands-free mode.
Equipped with a hands-free (automatic irradiation) function that allows reading without pulling the trigger. In environments where you cannot use both hands or when using a fixed scanner, you can irradiate by holding the barcode part over the irradiation port without pulling the trigger. (Correct recognition may not be possible depending on the surrounding brightness and angle.)
■Various customizable settings
You can customize settings such as reading sound volume, startup sound volume, and adding characters to the beginning (prefix) and end (suffix) of barcode data. There are no difficult settings, just read the barcode from the manual.
