The VRE306 is recommended for use as a reference for 14-, 16-, and 18-bit D/A converters that require an external precision reference. It is also ideal for calibrating scale factors of high-resolution A/D converters.The VRE306 has superior performance over monolithic references.
■Description
The VRE306 is a low cost, high precision +6V reference. Housed in an industry standard 8-pin surface mount package, it is ideal for upgrading systems using lower performance references. Initial accuracy is ±0.6mV (0.01%), temperature coefficient is 0.6ppm/℃, and ultra-stable +6V output is achieved. This increased accuracy is achieved through a unique patented multi-point laser correction technology.
Other performance parameters such as initial accuracy, warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability have also been significantly improved, making the VRE306 series the most accurate reference available in a standard 8-pin SMT package. It has become.
The VRE306 offers an external trim option for higher performance for users requiring less than 0.01% initial error. Additionally, for ultra-low noise applications, an external capacitor can be placed between the noise reduction terminal and the ground terminal. Additionally, a reference ground terminal is provided to eliminate errors due to contact resistance of the socket.
