■Application
The VRE305 is recommended for use as a reference for 14-, 16-, and 18-bit D/A converters that require an external precision reference. It is also ideal for calibrating the scale factor of high-resolution A/D converters. VRE305 has better performance than monolithic references.
■Description
The VRE305 is a low cost, precision +5V reference. Packaged in industry standard 8-pin DIP or SMT, it is ideal for upgrading systems using lower performance references. Initial accuracy is ±0.5mV (0.01%), temperature coefficient is 0.6ppm/℃, and ultra-stable +5V output is achieved. This increased accuracy is achieved through a unique patented multi-point laser correction technology.
Other performance parameters such as initial accuracy, warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability have also been significantly improved, making the VRE305 series the most accurate reference available in a standard 8-pin DIP or SMT. I am. For improved performance, the VRE305 features an external trim option for users requiring less than 0.01% initial error.
Additionally, an external capacitor can be installed between the noise reduction terminal and the ground terminal to achieve ultra-low noise. In addition, a reference ground terminal is provided to eliminate errors caused by contact resistance of the socket.
