In water with high pH, monochloramine can maintain a bactericidal power even with high pH compared to free chlorine processing, which reduces the bactericidal effect. Legionella belongings can also be sterilized.
■ Stable processing even in water quality including ammonium ions
The ammonium ions are made by reacting with free chlorine to make binding chlorine (chloramin), making it difficult to maintain and manage the dye chlorine concentration. Monochromine does not react to ammonium ions, so it is easy to control concentration and has a stable sterilization effect.
■ Torihalomethane is difficult to generate
Monochloramine is a processing method that is less likely to produce trihalomethane, which is suspected of carcinogenicity, compared to sodium hypochlorite.
■ Easy to penetrate into biofilm
The biofilm attached to the piping is a hotbed such as Legionella. Monochromine is easy to penetrate inside the biofilm and is also effective for microorganisms hidden inside the biofilm.
