The heat design process navigator thermocalc is an Excel -based thermal design support tool that allows you to select parts that require thermal measures in the front loading of the heat design, or to determine the effective measures policy.

Thermocalc is a tool for using the electronic device design flow at a very early stage, and considering the temperature prediction of equipment and implementation parts, the discovery of hot and dangerous parts, and further heat countermeasures methods. By using it before the verification of heat flow analysis, you can efficiently promote the thermal design.

By selecting and placing the sheets used from many calculation sheets, and customizing them according to their own thermal design flow, the design can be advanced using a suitable sheet for each heat design flow.

Displays design guidelines such as the optimal fins of the heat sink, the recommended fan list, the necessary to the required border area, and the measure of reducing power consumption. This can help you design the efficient heat dissipation mechanism.
■ Temperature margin calculation of electronic components
Calculate the temperature margin of all the products implemented in the device in a lump. Parts information such as the external form and power consumption that are subject to temperature margin calculation will be automatically set by simply specifying the part number and product name if you import it in the parts database.
■ Temperature distribution analysis by heat circuit network law
Calculate the mutual impact of parts laid out on the board and predict the temperature. The thermal conductivity can be set in consideration of the wiring of the printed circuit board, and a simple simulation of heat measures for the substrate is possible before full -fledged thermal analysis.
