■PicoLog CM3 current monitoring data logger
The new PicoLog CM3 USB/Ethernet current data logger is a compact, easy-to-use instrument for measuring current consumption in buildings and machinery. Featuring three channels, high accuracy, and low noise, this instrument is ideal for recording data from single-phase and three-phase AC power sources. The logger is available as a complete logger or as a kit with three AC current clamps.
PicoLog software is available for free download. The USB and Ethernet interfaces allow you to use the logger as a USB-only device, an Ethernet interface as a USB-powered device, or a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) device.
With an Ethernet interface, PicoLog CM3 can be placed anywhere on the LAN or the Internet.
■Non-invasive current clamp
The CM3 uses industry standard AC current clamps to measure current. These clamps have opening jaws that allow you to clamp conductors in seconds without directly connecting them to high voltage. AC current clamps do not require a power source or battery, making them ideal for monitoring and logging energy use over long periods of time. If you need to measure high currents, we will be happy to advise you on the appropriate clamp for your application.
The CM3 can be used alone (and in addition to your current clamps) or as an optional cost-saving kit that includes three TA138 200 A AC current clamps.
