■PicoLog 1000 series
The PicoLog 1000 versatile DAQ series is designed to meet a variety of needs, including a wide range of general purpose voltage, sensor, and transducer logging applications, with software-configurable independent scaling, control outputs, and custom front-end electrical circuitry. Features include an external terminal board for use with 10/12-bit input resolution.
■Expandable multi-channel data acquisition system
The budget model PicoLog 1012 has 12 input channels and 10-bit resolution. The powerful PicoLog 1216 has 16 channels and 12-bit resolution. Need more channels? Don't worry. With the new PicoLog software, you can connect up to 20 Pico data loggers to a single PC, creating a 320-channel PicoLog 1000 Series data acquisition system, or connecting other Pico data loggers such as the TC-08 thermocouple data logger. equipment can be used with the PicoLog 1000 logger.
■External terminal board
The external terminal board, which connects to the logger's 25-way connector, has screw terminals that allow you to connect the sensor wires to the data logger without soldering. Some terminal boards allow you to attach resistors to provide offsets and extend the logger's input range. The terminal board user manual includes a simple circuit diagram that allows you to increase the logger's input voltage range and measure voltage with a 4-20mA sensor.
