■Product description
The precision pressure sensor models CPT6180 and CPT6100 are compact, rugged sensors with a serial output and a freely selectable measurement range between -1 and 400 bar (-15 and 6,000 psi). High accuracy within 0.01% for 365 days (IS-50) makes this sensor one of the most accurate transducers in precision measurement technology. Standard output mode provides pressure values through an inquiry response process.
■Applications
This high-precision pressure sensor is also integrated into OEM products, for example in pressure, flow, and humidity calibrators, as well as in a variety of instruments that require high-speed measurements. This product is used as a reference pressure sensor in automatic production of pressure measuring equipment and in calibration stands. The CPT6140's high accuracy, reading speed, and long-term stability make it particularly suitable for wind tunnels, pressure chambers, or leak and burst testing applications. These features provide useful tools in metrology, hydrogeology, oceanography and the aeronautical and space industries.
■Function
Precision pressure sensor models CPT6180 and CPT6100 have RS-232 or RS-485 interfaces The RS-485 interface offers true multi-drop connectivity and easy cable connection possibilities. You can choose 4 different baud rates. This sensor can be configured for various measurement ranges within the maximum values of gauge pressure and absolute pressure.
It supports a wide voltage range (DC 6 ... 20 V) and low power consumption (<0.5 W). With a recalibration period of 180 or 365 days (depending on the precision selected) and a high resolution of 6 digits, the CPT6140 is suitable for a variety of applications.

The precision pressure sensor model's rugged and compact design allows it to be easily mounted in a 19-inch rack, saving space. The combination of male and female threads allows quick and secure installation at all times and eliminates the need for additional sealing.
