■Summary
VIVOTEK's FE9582-EHNV is a omnidirectional network camera fine-tuned for transportation. Based on the popular FE9382-EHV outdoor-ready omnidirectional camera, the FE9582-EHNV features the same 5-megapixel CMOS sensor to deliver sharp images. The FE9582-EHNV retains the same IP66/IK10 housing, WDR Pro, and world-class distortion-corrected PTZ capabilities, but also includes new features for transportation.
In addition to EN50155, the FE9582-EHNV has passed the vehicle fire protection and fire resistance standard EN45545. The FE9582-EHNV eliminates the RJ45 connector in favor of a 4-pin M12 connector, which is more commonly used for Ethernet connections on buses and trains. The FE9582-EHNV is equipped with a 940nm IR-LED instead of the more common 850nm IR-LED. By using invisible 940nm IR illumination at night, the FE9582-EHNV can maintain 24/7 surveillance without interfering with passenger rest with illumination.
Additionally, the FE9582-EHNV adopts VIVOTEK's Smart Stream III technology and H.265 video compression technology, which reduces bandwidth by 90% while maintaining superior image quality compared to traditional H.264 without Smart Stream. or more (varies depending on the monitored scene).
