■ Overview / features [VDC_7920] VME64X DUAL PMC/XMC Carrier The VDC_7920 is a 6U VME64X dual PMC/XMC carrier board with an extension, and can control up to four PMC/XMC slots and additional storage media via PCI Express Gen2 and SATA connection. Equipped with a unique AlTHEA 7910 solution, PCI Express to VME64X Bridge, provides extremely competitive COTS in terms of cost, performance and power consumption. A proven solution in this field uses the Slot_1 System Controller function to support all master/slave VME64X operating mode. It supports VME64X Data Transport 2EVME and 2ESST mode with the maximum burst long function, but does not depend on the third -party VME interface that has already been abolished, so it guarantees the availability of a very long -term board. The VDC_7920 operates as a PCI Express root complex, and can execute the XMC/PMC module configuration cycle directly from VME. You can also use an additional connection function using the optional P0 connector. The on-board Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA provides a healthy state of the board by monitoring the temperature and power parameters.
