Low -on resistance load switch ■ Characteristics The XC8102 series is a low ON resist load switch IC with a built -in PCH MOS FET and an output current protection function. Since ON/OFF control is possible by the CE terminal, it is possible to distribute the necessary power supply with maximum efficiency by using this product for output such as antihypertensive DC/DC converter, etc., and expand the battery use time. Realizes a long life. By entering the L level in the CE terminal, the IC will be on standby. In addition, since it has a built -in protective function such as current restriction, it is possible to omit the protection circuit that was required to form with a transistor such as MOSFET and a discrete such as a resistance element. Even if the capacitor is connected to the output terminal, it is possible to discuss the charge charged by the capacitor by the internal switch between the Vout terminal-vss terminal when it is on a standby state. This discharge function allows you to return the VOUT terminal to VSS level at high speed. It has a built -in overcurrent protection circuit and a foldback (Fed character) circuit as a protective circuit, and operates as an overcurrent protection to the output line and the protection of short -circuit output terminals.
