28V pressure regulator with voltage detection function ■ Characteristics The XC6408 series is a high -voltage positive voltage regulator IC with a voltage detection function of the CMOS process. The interior consists of a reference voltage source, an error amplifier, a driver orthrangist, a current restriction circuit, overheated protection circuit, a voltage detector, a phase compensation circuit, etc. The output voltage and the detected voltage can be set in the 0.1V step inside by laser trimming. The overcurrent protection circuit and overheated protection circuit with the foldback (fu) circuit and overheat protection circuit are built in, and the protection circuit operates depending on whether the output current reaches the limit or the junction temperature reaches the limit temperature. The XC6408D series monitors the output voltage of the regulator, and outputs reset signals from the VDOUT terminal when the output voltage is below the predetermined voltage. The reset time (delay time) can be set by an external capacitor. Also, in the XC6408E series, the output of the regulator can be turned off when the voltage is detected by monitoring any external voltage, and the standby mode can be set.
