2ch antihypertensive DC/DC controller ■ Characteristics The XC9503 series is a general -purpose high clock 2ch antihypertensive DC/DC controller IC of PWM, PWM/PFM external switching control. Both DC/DC controllers function as antihypertensive DC/DC controllers. Each DC/DC controller has a built -in 0.9V reference voltage source (accuracy ± 2.0%), and can be set up from an external component to about 0.9V to 6V. The switching frequency is as high as 300kHz, and the external parts can be reduced. 180kHz and 500kHz will also be available in custom. It is possible to switch to PWM control or PWM/PFM automatic switching control at an external signal. The PWM/PFM automatic switching control shifts from PWM control to PFM control during light load, and achieves high efficiency in the total load area from light load to large output current. PWM control can easily damage the noise because the switching frequency is fixed. You can select the optimal operation mode for the application. The soft start time is set to 10 msec inside 2ch independent, and prevents overshots of rush of input current and output voltage when standing.
