VREF input PWM, PWM/PFM control promotion DC/DC controller ■ Characteristics The XC9107 series is a general -purpose high -clock pressure promotion DC/DC controller of the reference voltage (VREF) external applied type. Since the output voltage is determined by the external resistance (RFB1, 2) and the VREF value, the output voltage can be easily controlled from the outside, and the voltage needs to be varied with the PDA LCD power supply software. Ideal. By inserting a resistance of about 0.1Ω for current sense, the phase compensation is performed when using a low ESR capacitor. This makes it easy to use ceramic capacitors, which were very difficult, and are very small and low ripples. The tantalized type does not require a current sense resistance as before. The switching frequency can be selected from two types: high clock, low ripple 300kHz and low -current 100 kHz. The PWM/PFM automatic switching type XC9107 series shifts from PWM control to PFM control during light load. This achieves high efficiency in the total load area from light load to large power current. At the time of standby (CE/PWM terminal "L"), the current consumption is reduced to 1.0 μA or less by stopping all circuits.
