Built -in 600ma synchronous rectification DC/DC converter ■ Characteristics The XC9236 series is a synchronous DC/DC converter with a built -in 0.42ΩPCH MOS driver Tr. and 0.52Ω NCH MOS switch tr. compatible with ceramic capacitors. The operating voltage is 2.0V to 6.0V (A to C type), 1.8V to 6.0V (D -G type). The output voltage external setting product (D/F type) has a built -in reference voltage source of 0.8V (accuracy ± 2.0%), and any output voltage can be set from 0.9V due to external resistance. The output voltage internal fixed product (A/B/C/E/G type) can be selected in 0.05V steps, from 0.8V to 4.0V (accuracy ± 2.0%). Use only coils and capacitors as external parts, and you can get a stable power supply with a high efficiency of 600 mA of an output current. The built -in oscillator has 1.2MHz and 3.0MHz, which allows you to select the optimal frequency. The operation mode is automatically switched by PWM/PFM, and achieves high -speed response, low ripple, and high efficiency in the full load area from light load to heavy load. The soft start function and current restriction function are optimized inside. At the time of standby, the current consumption is reduced to 1.0 μA or less by stopping all circuits. With the B/F/G type, the soft start function starts at high speed at 0.25ms (Typ.). The UVLO (UNDER VOLTAGE LOCK OUT) function is built -in, and the input voltage 1.4V or less is forcibly turned off the internal PCH MOS driver TR. In the B to G series, the CL charge is discharged through internal resistance by turning on the internal switch between LX-VSS during the standby by the CL discharge function. With this discharge function, the output voltage can be returned to VSS level at high speed.
