■ Characteristics
The XCL101 series is an ultra -small (2.5mm x 2.0mm, h = 1.0mm) boost DC/DC converter that integrates coils and control ICs. You can create a power supply circuit by simply adding two ceramic capacitors to the external components. By reducing the external parts, the circuit is simplified, and the noise and operation troubles due to the board layout can be minimized.
The XCL101 series has an input voltage range of 0.7V to 5.5V, ideal for applications that operate with alkaline batteries and one nickel hydrogen battery. The output voltage can be set in the 0.1V step in the range of 1.8V to 5.0V (accuracy ± 2.0%).
The circuit system uses a synchronous rectification of PFM control to minimize current consumption and achieve high efficiency. There are two types of "A, B type", which stops the input and output conductor at the time of CE = "L", and "C type" that conducts input and output that interacts the intention of input and output.
