About This Product
A hydrogel composed of cellulose and water obtained by fermenting microorganisms. It is an environmentally friendly cellulose nanofiber produced only by fermentation, and is a soft and strong hydrogel.
Microorganisms are added to a liquid medium containing nutrients, and a bacterial cellulose gel is produced on the surface of the medium by culturing the microorganisms. Compared to plant-based cellulose, it is produced using an environmentally friendly method that requires less chemical processing and requires less energy.

Bacterial cellulose gel is a hydrogel composed of cellulose nanofibers with a diameter of approximately 50 nm produced by microorganisms. It has a high water retention capacity as it retains a large amount of water due to its fine cellulose nanofibers.
