■What kind of glue is 3D printer special glue “Magigoo”?
When using an FDM 3D printer, one of the causes of printing failure that many people have experienced is "model warping." A commonly known method to prevent this warping is to apply glue.
The Magigoo series has a lineup that is compatible with commonly used materials such as PLA and ABS, as well as engineering plastics such as PA and PP, and super engineering plastics such as PEEK and PEI. By applying it to the table before printing, it increases the fixing power of the important first layer and enables stable printing.
■Exhibits strong adhesion when the table is heated
The Magigoo series has the magical feature of changing adhesive strength depending on changes in table temperature. When the table is heated to over 40℃, the table and model are strongly bonded, suppressing warping of the first layer of the model, which is extremely important in 3D printing.
■No need for power. Adhesive strength is lost when the temperature drops
After printing, when the table returns to room temperature, the adhesive strength decreases rapidly. This allows you to easily remove the model by hand without using tools such as scrapers. You no longer have to worry about damaging your model or table or injuring your workers. It can be removed without using force, so it can be removed by any operator.
■Cleaning after modeling can be done with just water
Since Magigoo is composed of water-soluble ingredients, the sticky ingredients can be easily removed by simply dampening a cloth with water and wiping the applied area. There is no need to scrape off hardened glue with a scraper or wipe it off with detergent. This makes it easier to clean the table that needs to be done after each build.
