About This Product
Light and soft. It has excellent cushioning properties, durability, shock absorption, heat insulation, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and sound absorption properties. It is used in a wide range of applications, from household goods to industrial and construction materials.
■Features
Except for some parts, it has an open cell structure. Excellent cushioning and sound absorption properties. There are also ether and ester types of urethane foam. The main features of each are introduced below.

■Physical characteristics
With some exceptions, it is fluffier and has a softer feel than ester foam.
■Chemical characteristics
Although it is stable against water, it easily wets and swells when exposed to oils.
ester foam
■Physical characteristics
With some exceptions, it feels less soft and harder than ether foam.
■Chemical characteristics
It is stable against oils, and there is not a small decrease in strength when wet. However, it has the property of being easily hydrolyzed by water.
