About This Product
The VGM5 series is packed with functions required in the field, such as graphical displays using bar graphs and trend graphs, easy-to-read displays that track both vertically and horizontally, and color displays that intuitively inform status in red, yellow, and green. Opening up a new field for meters.
■Selectable inputs and rich expressive power. A device that pursues the ideal of a panel meter.
We offer the VGM5-1, which allows A/B 2ch process input, and the Bch VGM5-3, which allows you to select A/B 2ch strain gauge and process input. It also flexibly supports measurement systems from load cells (strain gauges). In addition to multiple inputs, this is the definitive version that allows graphs, waveforms, colors, large, clear display, and vertical and horizontal display.
■Display rotation function
Equipped with a function to rotate the screen 90° as standard. You can freely choose between horizontal and vertical mounting. For example, even when installing an additional digital panel, which was not anticipated during device development, options for installation space will expand. You can choose the orientation that suits your site.
■Trend (broken line) screen display
Since measurement trends can be grasped, it is possible to know trends in the measurement target (for example, abnormalities during press-fitting, variations during multiple presses, etc.).
■Level (bar graph) screen display
You can know the ratio of the measured value to the total amount, and check the accurate measured value from the numerical display.
■Easy to read/understand color display
The background color changes automatically when an alarm is output. Colors can be selected from red, yellow, and green, and universal colors are used to improve identification.
■Calculation function (equipped with 2ch input)
The measurement value display can display each channel and calculation results for 1 to 3 elements at the same time, and the calculation method for each channel can be selected from 10 types of formulas.
■Self-diagnosis function
It has a built-in self-diagnosis function to prevent accidents with connected equipment, allowing safety confirmation before startup or during inspection.
■Waveform comparison function (VGM5-3 only)
Alarm output and waveform logging can be performed by comparing the measured waveform and judgment waveform. (2ch simultaneous waveform comparison possible)
■Multi-hold mode (VGM5-3 only)
Comparison output is performed using the hold value of each section and the set comparison judgment value. Judgments can be made for each specified section, such as the caulking process.
■A wealth of optional features
A wide variety of communication and output functions can be selected including RS-485 (Modbus RTU), RS-232C, analog output, and BCD output.
