About This Product

Qcut 150 M is a manual precision cutting machine with manual crossfeed and cutting wheel up to 203mm, suitable for a wide range of applications such as material microstructure inspection and metal microstructure inspection. The cutting force and rotation speed of the cutting wheel can be adjusted steplessly. Different operating modes and cooling systems allow for a wide range of applications and materials. The clamp arm, specimen holder, and table top fixings are designed to be replaced without tools. The robust design incorporates many ergonomically placed features. The cutting chamber with LED lighting is covered by a transparent protective hood with soft-close function. ■Variable cutting force The cutting force can be manually set according to the sample shape and sample material, allowing especially delicate materials and samples to be cut accurately without deformation. ■Suitable for various applications with adjustable parameters The rotation speed of the precision cutting wheel can be adjusted steplessly from 150 to 3,000 rpm using a dial. Therefore, diamond cutting wheels, diamond cup wheels and corundum cutting wheels can be used for various purposes. Start and stop operation using the start/stop button. ■Manual Z-axis feed Qcut 150 M has manual Z-axis feed. For parallel cuts and defined grinding with diamond cup wheels, the Z-axis travel distance is up to 25 mm. ■Reduced subsequent polishing process The use of an adaptive rotary axis provides a more uniform cutting pattern and reduces the risk of the cutting wheel running. This reduces the effort required for later surface polishing of the sample.
